I led 2 lives Original Vintage Movie Poster
Title Year Nominal size Condition Price
I led 2 lives 1953 28" x 41" Fine £165
Notes: Released as Glen or Glenda in the USA, this was one of director Ed Wood's finest films. It was certainly flawed, as all his films were, but Ed Wood's unfathomable script, bizarre pantomime-esq vignettes and a visibly morphine-addled Bela Lugosi shouting about big green dragons make this cult viewing nonetheless. First release poster, folded as issued.

Notes: Despite the schlock-horror title, this is a well made, thought provoking Sci-fi film. A young bride discovers that her husband is not the man she fell in love with, but a hideous alien in a specially constructed shell. This is a rare UK quad with the same iconic design as the 1958 first release US posters. Linen backed with restoration to upper right corner and retouching to folds and borders.

Immoral Mr Teas Original Vintage Movie Poster
Title Year Nominal size Condition Price
Immoral Mr Teas 1959 US 1 sht - 27"x41" Fine on linen £495
Notes: This is Russ Meyer's debut 1959 feature, a nudie movie typical of similar films of the time. For the brief 61 minutes running time, The Immoral Mr. Teas wanders about his daily business as a dental supplies salesman, ogling improbably-dressed (for the time) receptionists, dental assistants and waitresses without a care that he might get caught (he never does). The lead actor,Bill Teas, was an old Army buddy of Meyer from World War II, and Meyer let him use his own name as the character's name. A rather sweet and innocent film with glimpses of the style that would make Meyer famous in later years. Fine on linen with retouching to borders.
