Mighty Joe YoungPrice: £1,250 | Nominal size: UK quad - 40"x30" | Grade: Very Good/Fine on linen | Year: 1949
Note: Very rare survivor from post second world war austerity years in Britain when the paper drives led to almost all used paper being recycled - this is the only UK quad that I've ever seen or heard about. Mighty Joe Young was an entertaining slant on "King Kong" by Kong's creators, Cooper and Schoedsack that was much better than Kong's 1934 sequel, "Son of Kong", which was hurriedly made. The creators put a lot more thought and effort into this worthy follow-up and it shows. More superb special effects from Willis O'Brien as technical director, featuring the budding talents of protege, Ray Harryhausen. Linen backed in excellent condition.

Poster size and Framing
We don't handle framing but we are very happy to advise you - just ask. In terms of the poster size, it’s very important to understand that quoted sizes are the official nominal sizes for the country in person and individual print runs for specific posters can vary in size so you should always measure the actual poster before ordering a frame in case it doesn't fit.
