Angry Sea Vintage Movie Poster

Angry Sea

Price: £145 | Nominal size: US flyer - 8" x 14" | Grade: Good/Very Good | Year: 1963

Note: Super rare handbill of the Angry Sea, a surfing documentary by John Severson. Severson was one of the most influential of all the surfing artists, directors and journalists in the early 60's, founding Surfer magazine in 1960 (still the world's leading surfer magazine). Like Bruce Brown's Endless Summer, Angry Sea did the rounds of California's universities with this handbill advertising a showing in Burbank North Hollywood Valley College gym. An incredibly rare piece of surfing history, this does have a fair amount of wear and tear but still presents well.

If buying several items, we will provide free postage for all but the most expensive item.

Poster size and Framing
We don't handle framing but we are very happy to advise you - just ask. In terms of the poster size, it’s very important to understand that quoted sizes are the official nominal sizes for the country in person and individual print runs for specific posters can vary in size so you should always measure the actual poster before ordering a frame in case it doesn't fit.
